Workshop Round Up

We love workshops for lots of reasons, as I've outlined before, but this week we're especially loving workshops because we have so many super fun ones on the horizon!

This Friday, Feb. 22, back by popular demand, we're Paint Pouring for Catonsville's Galentine's Night Out. We're co-sponsoring this event with B Boutique, Ash & Oak Salon, and Domain by Laura Hodges Studio. They'll have their own specials that evening, too.

This Saturday, Feb. 23, we are building a superlative side table. With a top you can design yourself from the pieces provided, hairpin legs, and lots of stain color options, this table is perfect for bedside or couch-side.

In March, we're bringing the Crafty Happy Hour: BYOB and we'll provide the snacks. On March 1, we're making a unique, wood hexagon wreath that you can wood burn yourself, using a pattern of your choice. On March 15, we're making a box or 2 leather accessories for Date Night. On March 29, we've got canvas bags two ways: dip dye or paint this functional, handmade bag to be your new go-to on the way out the door for errands.

We've got March Saturdays lined up, too: Mary updated the photo for the geode Resin Pour on March 2. These beauties are fun to make and fun to use! Join us for The Great Baltimore Make Off on March 16: test your craft skills against other makers, competing for prizes and bragging rights!

Last but certainly not least, we're hosting our second MP Kids event on March 23. Make time for crafting with your kids age 8 and up, building a geometric shelf, perfect for photos, collections, or just for fun!

Maker Practice is all about trying something new. Walk away with a sense of empowerment that comes from trying that something new and enjoy a gorgeous physical object that showcases your new skill!

 Happy Making!
