Spring Crafts Reveal

With freezing temps and snow skirling around it's a great morning to celebrate something sunny: new crafts! Mary and I hope Maker Practice's new lineup has got something for everyone, from Maker Virgins who want to try something new, to seasoned pros ready to tackle a different type of project. For photos of all these beautiful crafts, visit our brand new website crafts page: https://makerpractice.com/pages/signature-crafts.
I'll start with our Kentucky leather. Mary designed 2 necklaces, a bracelet, and 3 key fobs to add to our current earrings collection. You can make any 2 Leather Accessories for $35, or make any 4 for $50. We've rated this project as a Maker Rookie, because you'll need to closely consult and follow directions here.
Also in the Leather category, we decided to offer a bag. Mary designed a Leather Clutch studded with rivets that we've classified as a Maker Rookie craft, for $50. It's the perfect size for keys, phone, and a small wallet, and the strap makes it easy and chic to hold.
In the Repurpose category, we're bringing back Faux Stained Glass with a few tweaks to the directions to make the process simpler and easier. This Maker Virgin craft priced at $48 features three new designs and endless customizing combinations, with the huge stash of fabric scraps we've accumulated.
In the Home Style category, which is also capturing our Wood projects, we've got a few options for you. We're keeping Legacy Boxes. At $55, this Maker project has challenged and enchanted a lot of first-time nailer users, so we thought we'd keep it around.
We're also moving Tea Towels to this category at the Maker Virgin level. We've upgraded to unbleached cotton in a much larger size to add to the $48 value. Make 4 featuring monograms or Mary's hilarious new pun stamps, including "whiskey business" and "that's what cheese said."
From the vault, we're bringing back the Clock at the lower price of $48. We're changing up the options on this one: you still have the same square base, but you've got new choices to stain or paint the face we hope you'll find intriguing. It's a Maker Rookie craft.
In the Homegrown category, we're bringing back the Maryland Flag, a Maker Hopeful priced at $48. We scaled the directions to make this craft easier and faster, to give more makers an opportunity to tackle this cool project.
On to a new offering: complete with crab stencil, we bring you a Bottle Opener, perfect for the back patio or right by the fridge, featuring magnets to catch caps before they fall to the floor. Customize with stain, paint, monograms, states, the crab...lots of choices to make this simple design your Homegrown-own. It's a Maker Hopeful, priced at $45.
Last but certainly not least, in the Seasonal category, Maker Practice presents String Art. Lots of makers have asked for it, and we're here to make your craft dreams come true. Mary's designed three beautiful, scaled patterns for the season...well, one a bit Wintery (perfect for today, actually) and one a bit more Spring forward, and one open to your string interpretation! We also have the state of Maryland outline on offer. We're rating this as a Maker Hopeful, but some of the patterns could definitely be described as Maker, so there is a lot to choose from with this craft. At $46, this craft features a number of custom size, pattern, color, and stain options.
Mary and I are so thankful for your support and we hope you'll enjoy this new line up of crafts as much as we do. We're so excited to see what you'll make next and to watch your creativity take our samples, materials, and directions, and turn them into something completely your own!
Happy making,
